With more than 25 years of experience in hospitality interior design, Sam Hall is a design leader recognised for combining luxury guest experience with responsible, future-focused design. As Director of Design for the InterContinental and Regent brands at IHG Hotels & Resorts, Sam partners with owners, operators and project teams across Europe to deliver distinctive hospitality experiences that balance brand ambition, commercial performance and environmental responsibility.

Throughout a career spanning consultancy, operational and ownership roles, Sam has helped shape luxury hospitality projects worldwide. In addition to representing design for InterContinental and Regent, Sam leads IHG’s Green Gang and the Beyond the Buzzwords initiative, championing practical and measurable sustainability in hospitality design.
Combining creative vision with deep technical knowledge, Sam advocates for design solutions that reduce environmental impact while enhancing guest experience, operational efficiency and long-term asset value. This work focuses on moving sustainability from aspiration to action, embedding responsible decision-making throughout the design process from concept development to project delivery.
