Olga Polyanskaya is the Technical Design Director at Bergman Design House, known for crafting spaces where precision meets poetry. Trained as an architect and shaped by a career spanning the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, Olga brings a storyteller’s curiosity to every project — letting culture, landscape, and human experience lead the design narrative.
Her portfolio ranges from ultra-luxury desert resorts and regenerative coastal clubhouses to ambitious mixed-use and waterfront developments delivered with international teams. Across them all runs a common thread: design that feels alive to its context, considerate of its footprint, and deeply connected to people.
An advocate for what she calls “responsible luxury”, Olga believes sustainability and sophistication aren’t opposites but allies. Through intelligent specification, low-impact materials, and intentional design choices, she builds beauty that lasts — not just visually, but ethically.
Also a painter, Olga sees architecture as both an art and a discipline of empathy. Her leadership blends technical clarity with creative freedom, helping teams deliver work that is rigorous yet soulful.
This year, she joins the Sustainability in Design Awards jury, celebrating projects that prove a sustainable future can also be an inspiring one.
